After the spectacular success of the first ‘Open Camping Day’ in 2015, Westtoer asked comma, merkenmarketeers to create the communication and marketing strategy for a second edition. Although this year’s edition is a bit different – the focus lies on campers instead of camping’s – comma, merkenmarketeers created a new communication and social strategy. Our copywriting and design team crafted general adverts, Facebook adverts and posts, flyers, emailing campaigns and more for this year’s edition. For the previous edition, focus was put on one main communication medium: national radio station Radio 2, a family friendly radio station with the largest range in Flanders. Over 1,2 million people listen to this station daily. This year, we focus on digital channels, for example by implementing an online photo contest.
