Ernie Canadeo
Founder & CEO
Ernie founded EGC in 1985 after a successful career as Director of Co-Op Advertising at RCA Records. Since then, he’s turned EGC into a full-service advertising, marketing and digital agency, and expanded into a second location in Manhattan.
Ernie had the vision to establish an “EGC Interactive” Division in 1997, and as a result, EGC is now recognized as a leader in digital marketing. He sits on many not-for-profit boards and is involved in many local business and cultural organizations.
He was named the “Entrepreneur of the Year” in 2011 by ACIT (Advancement for Commerce and Technology), and was elected to the Direct Marketing Association Hall of Fame in October 2013. He was recently elected Chairman of the Long Island Music Hall of Fame.
Nicole Larrauri
President
Nicole joined EGC with joint degrees in Fine Arts and Business and a career in Brand Management. Nicole was named as a “40 Under 40” honoree, was listed among the “Five People to Watch in Advertising” and as a “Top Advertising Executive” by Long Island Business News.
Today, Nicole actively leads the agency and works with the management team on client strategy to ensure consistent ROI.
Nicole is a board member of the ACIT, is on the Advisory Board of Farmingdale College, and is a member of the Young Presidents Organization (YPO).
Lara Bass
Vice President, Client Services
Lara is a strategic marketer whose experience includes advertising, sponsorship, partnership and event marketing, digital and social media.
Lara began her career at Young & Rubicam, working on Citibank, USPS and new business development. She then moved to Renegade, a boutique agency that focused on integrated brand experiences. For eight years, Lara ran the Panasonic account, and ultimately became the Client Services Director, where she was responsible for all client relationships. Beyond Panasonic, Lara built integrated campaigns for IBM, HSBC, Toasted Head Wines and Nolet Spirits. Following Renegade, Lara worked for a marketing consultant firm that focused on strategic partnerships with key Fortune 500 companies.
As the Director of Client Services at EGC, Lara leads the Account team, and focuses on understanding our clients’ needs to ensure that EGC’s work helps them achieve their business goals.
Rich DeSimone
Vice President, Creative Director
Rich has been with EGC for 10 years and he leads our creative across traditional and digital channels.
Rich looks for ideas beyond ads, and pushes his team to answer every brief with unexpected ways to engage the audience. He is focused on his clients’ businesses, and believes that great creative comes from a place of understanding the customer, the client, and the product. In this way, he always brings a strategic point of view that strengthens the message and execution.
He has a broad range of experience, including work with restaurant brands like Friendly’s and Red Mango, as well as retailers like STS Tire and Sterling Optical, and global brands such as Thomson Reuters, Brother, and Canon.

Angela Mertz
Vice President, Integrated Media
Angela directs communications planning and media buying across EGC’s client roster within traditional, digital and social channels.
Her approach is often to integrate new media opportunities with strong proven traditional/digital programs and impactful added value to deliver plans that are both effective and highly efficient in today’s evolving media landscape.
Graham Byers
Vice President, Strategic Planning
Graham joined EGC in 2014 as a strategic leader with over 15 years of experience on assignments spanning from CPG giants (P&G, General Mills, Mars, and Nabisco) to leaders in financial services (JPMorgan Chase), and from global telecom (Nokia) to local tourism (I Love NY).
Graham brings a diverse skill set and an inquisitive mind to help solve our client’s business problems. Today, as our head of Strategic Planning, Graham is responsible for forming insights, and for strategic and creative direction for the agency’s clients.
